Delicate, perhaps overcharges batteries - Gary Coffrin - San Jose, California, USA
This iPod charger functioned for a while, but it is delicate. Even with very careful use, the outer cord covering detached and opened up where it entered the plug that attaches to the iPod.

My iPod Nano battery seemed to loose capacity too quickly and died about the same time the charger's cord split. I did not frequently top-off the Nano's battery, but followed the recommended protocol of charging only when the battery was fairly low. Total life span of the Nano's battery was under 15 months, and it was not used heavily. I suspect, but do not know, that this rather short battery life might have something to do with a charging voltage that is a bit too high. This charger is probably best suited as a secondary charger for occasional use.

I suspect that Apple chargers do a better job of maximizing the life of the very expensive iPod batteries. FYI: A famous auction site has Hong Kong suppliers selling Apple wall chargers for less than delivered.

Pink Silicone Skin Case + Armband for Apple iPod Touch 2nd Gen Review

I ordered the pink silicon skin for my daughter's ipod. It looks good and the price was great. I think it looks more purple than pink, but maybe that's just me. This case won't prevent major damage, but it will provide some protection if she drops it. It doesn't come with a screen guard, so that had to be purchased individually. The armband is kind of ugly, so she doesn't use that, but for looks and ease of use, I'd rate this silicon case a 5.

I bought this item and was very disappointed when I got it because the iPod screen is not visible when the iPod is inserted in the armband. I didn't look at the photo carefully and assumed that the screen would be visible--wouldn't you?
There is a raised button over the center of the iPod wheel so that you can feel what you are pushing, but without a screen it is not much use. I am very disappointed in Nike for producing such a product, and I hope that Apple did not approve it.






Needs nike+ - Garrett Patrick Stevens -
Designed with space for nike+ at bottom of ipod. If you dont have that in it will slide up and down and you dont really know where the buttons at. No hole for screen, you can make your own no prob. Volume control is really hard. But it was a good price, so no complaints

Like everyone else said, it makes no sense that you can't see the screen. I often don't even use my headphones when I'm running - I just use the iPod+ to track my distance and keep cumulative totals for me. So I DO need to see the screen while I'm running.

I ended up cutting a square hole where the screen is, and now it's perfect! Nike should just make this part of the design, and put a piece of clear plastic over it to protect the screen. Then, I'd give it a 4.5-star rating. The band is comfortable, and the controls work fine through the material.
